What do you like about Play.ht?

Their UI is quite good and it feels user-friendly.

The most unjust thing is its pricing, even though the voices are not that robotic but as compared to competitors it is a waste of money to use it when there are more robust solutions in the market. They need to up their game and lower their prices

First of all, I have to say that the sound is not realistic at all. It said that we can distinguish the sound, but unfortunately we don't have any say in the roboticism of the sound. Don't even bother with customer service. You can find better ones. I think move on to the next one 👌🏻

The concept of providing seamless and realistic text-to-speech functionality was appealing.

What did you dislike about Play.ht?

I was disappointed by their weak customer service and underwhelming voice tech. My card was also unduly charged even after my request for cancellation. In addition, an absence of acknowledgement or effective resolution for the issues I faced was also very disappointing.

Unfortunately, there were no standout features that satisfied my needs and expectations.

I disliked the lack of advancement in the text-to-speech technology provided by Play.ht. The service needs significant improvement to deliver on its promises of providing futuristic, hyper-realistic voices. The customer service also left much to be desired in terms of support and responsiveness.
