Why submit to Crunchbase?
Crunchbase is relevant when the goal is to establish an accurate company identity for researchers, partners, and people evaluating the organization behind an AI product. It is less suitable as a product-launch page because the record centers on the company and verifiable business information. The value comes from consistency. Names, URLs, descriptions, location, and founding details should agree with the company's own website and public records.
Submission requirements
Sign in or register, search for the organization first, and create a new organization only if a current profile does not exist. Prepare the legal or public company name, website, short and long descriptions, company type, location, founding information, categories, social links, and other verifiable organization facts requested by the form.
Creating or editing a profile requires account access. Product subscriptions and data services are separate; verify the current profile permissions and account terms after sign-in.
Crunchbase does not promise a particular link attribute, search ranking, funding outcome, or verification result through the add-new flow. The profile should be treated as a factual company record.
How to submit to Crunchbase
Sign in to Crunchbase and search for the company name, former names, and website before using Add New. If a profile already exists, request or use the appropriate edit path instead of creating a duplicate. For a new organization, complete the official form with the canonical company URL and factual organization details. Use neutral descriptions that explain what the company does without unsupported market-leadership claims. Add only information that can be maintained and verified, then revisit the profile when material company facts change.
Practical submission tips
Treat the page as a company data record, not an advertisement. Keep the company name and website consistent across public sources, avoid duplicating an existing organization, and do not add funding, employee, or investor information that cannot be supported.
Research sources
Check the official source before submitting because directory policies can change.
