What changed
Pangram has promoted an aggressive social-media campaign against people suspected of using AI to write. Its scoring system can only somewhat reliably detect AI involvement and cannot show whether a text came from a brief prompt or hours of human research and editing.
What this means for you
A Pangram score should not be treated as proof that someone did no original work. Public accusations could unfairly damage users’ reputations, especially when the tool’s results are uncertain.
