Google Cloud AI Research, Washington University in St. Louis, and UNC Chapel Hill released EnvHarness, an openly licensed software layer that makes fixed training environments adapt to how an AI agent performs. Its EnvRigger tool automatically creates the needed adjustments, and tests across five benchmarks reported up to 9.0-point gains on new tasks with 9.8% fewer steps.
