Your new role
Cluster Product Master Data Specialist will coordinate with local markets (organizations) on the topic of product master data, especially but not limited to: gathering local data, gathering local data requirements, verification of local date entered in the system, enforcement of global PI/PO process on the local level, formulating mass creation and mass change requests.
Cluster Product Master Data Specialist will support, follow up and control local workflow application which are (or are to be) established in Smartsheet’s (with aim, in the future such workflow will be fully automated in SAP). Will be central point of contact to local data specialist and interface to central master data team. Will provide support in training local specialists and support central master data team with implementation of new standards and changes to the process.
Your additional tasks

Coordinates product master data related activities of local PDMs, Functional Experts and other roles on cluster level (thru e-mail or Smartsheet workflow)
First level support to local functional responsible master data contributor
Act as interface to the Central Master Data team (CMDM)
Test changes in the master data model implemented by CMDM
Proactively identify local data quality issues and coordinate their correction
Prepare the Product Request / DCR for the Global Category Management together with Cluster Category Management
Provide local data required by the CMDM to complete the matching
Provide short and long Marketing texts in local language (by liaising with local Category Management or Product Management team)
Act as interface to Data Quality and Product Content team
Understand usage of product data in the different interfaces (PCM, MAM, C4C…) and coordinate updates and correction with responsible teams
What you bring

2 years of total years’ experience
Bachelor of Economics/Business/Technical
MS Excel – Level: Advanced (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Sort, Filter, etc.)
A strong drive for constant simplification, standardization and improving processes
Working according to the principle of “First Time Right” to avoid correction loops
Strong coordination skills
Strong problem-solving capabilities, ability to achieve solutions in a group or team
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to communicate with varying levels within the organization
Ability to diagnose problems / issues and resolve in a timely and customer focused manner
Good understanding of SAP master data structures (material master data, document master data, bills of material)
